~The Natural Elements~ |
There are four natural elements which a wizard can pursue. These elements are; Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. I will give a brief description of each, inclusing their strengths, and their weaknesses. As well, I will provide a listing of every available spell, according to element. |
Srad(Fire) |
The first element I will discuss, is Srad, or Fire. Fire is a powerful, and destructive element. Though a forest is destroyed by the ravages of consuming flame, from riches in nutrients left behind by the charred remains of tree and brush, quickly springs renewed life. As well, the winds, churned by the heat of flame, spread the seed of the trees and the brush beneath them. Fire, though it is destructive, also it is a means by which nature purifies, renews, and propagates itself. |
Srad's effect has a long range. Accuracy by evoking it's power directly upon a creature is high. Srad spells, in my studies, have the greatest accuracy(least likely to miss a desired target). The range of it's lamh effect is matched only by that of Athar. Great physical prowess(Strength) is a must to pursue Srad. |
Srad dominates: Athar |
Srad is dominated by: Sal |

Creag(Earth) |
Our next element, is Creag, or Earth. Earth is a strong, prominent element. It's stable, and generally passive. However, it's wrath, when provoked, can consume entire kingdoms, with a ferocity that exceeds even that of Srad. |
Creag spells have a moderate range. The accuracy of a summoned creag spell is relatively equal to that of a Athar spell. The range of a creag leamh spell is very short. One must be adjacent(standing next to) to a creature when using a creag lamh spell. A strong, and durable(Constitution) body is needed to pursue Creag |
Creag dominates: Sal |
Creag is dominated by: Athar |

Athar(Wind) |
Athar, the mighty four winds. Athar's moods range from soft, gentle breezes, to raging gusts of wind. Athar's power is made manifest by wizards through their manipulation of lightning. |
Athar spells have the second greatest range, exceeded only by Srad. The athar coudbursts summoned by wizards are very accurate, and the range of athar lamh spells is great. A wizard must have quick reflexes, and must move as the wind(Dexterity) to pursue Athar. |
Athar dominates: Creag |
Athar is dominated by: Srad |

Sal(Water) |
Sal, natures purest element. Sal cleanses, and soothes. It is easily manipulated, and easily conforms to it's surroundings, or anything it surrounds. Sal is a slow, unrelenting, and unstoppable force. |
Sal has the shortest range of all the elements, and is the least accurate. The chances of successfully summoning the power of Sal in combat, against ones foe is slim. Wisdom, and patience are the greatest assets of Sal wizards. |
Sal dominates: Srad |
Sal is dominated by: Creag |

~Elementalism, and Leasaich spells~ |
Elementalism is practiced thought the collecting and bottling the elements, from element nodes throughout Temuair. These bottles elements are called Fiors. To collect these elements, you'll need a Nadurra necklace, and a leasaich spell. The Nadurra necklaces can be bought from Kiril, the dark wizard of Undine. Leasaich spells are learned from various sources. These spells, and the locations where they are taught, can be found in the spell lists for each element. |
Now, you may be wondering what purpose these concentrated, bottled elements serve. The answer is quite simple. Though the use of the leasaich spell, a wizard, providing he has the proper bottles element, can absorb the essence of the Fior to strengthen his will. A nadurra necklace must be worn for this spell to be of any use. The Fiors, are named after their element. These being, Fior Srad, Fior Creag, Fior Athar, and Fior creag. You may have been wondering what all those seemingly useless flasks, you have found around the crypts, east woodlands, and numerous other places, are. The blue potions are in actuallity, Fior Sal. The black potions, Fior Creag. The tan potions are Fior Athar, and the orange potions are Fior Srad. |
If Fiors cannot be found, they can be easily made by locating element nodes with the assistance of your nadurra necklace, and bottled using your elemental knowledge to capture the essence of your element. Nadurra necklaces are like divining rods, but instead of being used to search for water, they are used to divine the location of elemental nodes. But where are these elemental nodes to be found? |
Srad: The element of fire is most comonly found near pillars with torches, and hearths. |
Creag: The element of earth can be located around the entrances of crypts, and around masses of stone. |
Athar: The element of wind can be found near large trees. |
Sal: The element of water can be found near fountains, and town wells. |
