~Elemental Nadur, and Fas Nadur Magicks~

It is well known, that a majority of creatures have natural defenses, and attack based upon the 6 known elements. Those elements are: Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, Darkness, and Light. These elements can be manipulated, or even altered by the use of Nadur enchantments. The first nadur magicks we'll be discussing, are the elemental nadurs, which are used to convert the elemental defense of a creature to element desired by the caster.

~Elemental Nadurs~

These magics, srad nadur, creag nadur, sal nadur, and athar nadur respectively, have the capability to alter the defensive, as well as the offensive elements of a creature. However, the transmuter must be a level above the creature whose element is to be altered, or the spell will not be effective. Nadur spells have no time-limited duration. The spell will remain in effect until either the creature is killed, or the wizard moves out of visual range.

Additionally, there are a number of different spells for each natural element. Srad for example: There is beag srad nadur, srad nadur, mor srad nadur, and ard srad nadur. The only difference I know between these spells, is that the greater the spell, the less willpower it takes to cast.

There are currently no dark nadur, or light nadur spells known to exist.

Special notes when using Nadur magicks:

1. The name of the spell reflects the nature of the element the spell bestows upon a creature. Thus, srad nadur would change a creatures element to Fire.
2. Fire attacks are strong against athar based defenses. (Srad Fas Athar)
3. Athar based attacks are strong against Creag based defenses. (Athar Fas Creag)
4. Creag based attacks are strong against Sal based defenses. (Creag Fas Sal)
5. Sal based attacks are strong against Srad based defenses. (Sal Fas Srad)

~Fas Nadur~

Fas Nadur, a wizards greatest asset. This is the most useful enchantment spell a wizard has in his repertoire. This spell is used to strengthen the elemental defense of a creature, or an aisling. Note, this spell only affects the defense of the target of the enchantment.

I will make an example of how fas nadur magick can be implemented:

We all know, most creatures have elemental defenses, and each element is strong against one element, and weak against another. Fas nadur is used to effectively double the strength of any given elemental defense. This makes the element of a target creature twice as strong against a single element, however, it also makes the defensive element of the target creature twice as vulnerable to the element which dominates it. Thus, a srad based elemental defense, would be twice as strong against attacks with an athar base, but would be twice as weak against attacks of a sal base. Are you beginning to understand the awesome potential of this spell? This effect, coupled with the rogue, or monk's ability to divine the elemental nature of creatures, makes this an extremely useful, and extremely powerful utility spell.

More importantly, however, is the dark element when combined with fas nadur as a means of defense for aislings. It's well known, that the dark element dominates all natural elements. The majority of creature's attacks with a natural elemental base, are weak against aislings who are wise enough to equip a dark belt. Through the use of fas nadur, the dark element's effects are doubled. Elemental spells cast upon an aisling enchanted with fas nadur, who's wearing a dark belt, are nullified for the most part. Even the feared Ard spells are rendered impotent. Physical attacks made by an attacking creature suffer the same weakness, and are for the most part, rendered quite impotent.
